1. Tell us a little about your life, your origins, how you started in the profession cartoonist.
What were some of your greatest difficulties, you had to face, in this profession ?

Latuff: I born in a simple family, my mother housewife, my father public servant.
Nothing really special about my family and origins. Just an ordinary life.
I used to make drawings since I was a small child.
Became a professional only in 1989, working for a small advertising company in downtown Rio
and freelancer cartoonist in 1990. I found
difficulties on finding a job in the mainstream media since I didn't have any influent relatives or friends.
Then I found my place in the
alternative, Leftists, trade union press, where I still work in, and proud of it.
